For anyone that has played the Nintendo Wii you know how addicting it can be and if you haven't tried the system try it and you will understand. The problem with addictions is that they are normally pretty expensive and this one is no different....well that was before the idea of Wii game downloads (okay I admit downloading games is not new but the Wii is new so that is why I call it a new idea). After the solution of the expense of Wii ownership came along it was followed by the "Internet" age old question how can I do it safely and legally. For anyone that has been on the Internet for a few years you know the problems that have plagued it concerning downloading files from the net, and downloading Wii games is just another type of file.
A good site to download Wii games from will be a site that offers solutions to these problems. A great site offers to solutions to these problems plus an easy-to-use interface, great customer support, a huge selection of games, and a guide to using the service.
Most reputable Wii game downloads sites are around $40-50 dollars, the cost of just one game, for a lifetime membership so price isn't really going to play a factor picking between one or another. Also all of the services offer music, movies, and TV shows along with games that you can download so that also really isn't a big consideration or selling point of one over the other, but it is still a definite plus for all of them.
Anyone that has used the internet to download something knows how easy it is to get someone messing with your computer planting a virus or stealing some sort of private information and in today's world the problem is even bigger and more real then it was a few years ago. Anytime you download something you are opening yourself up for someone to maliciously attack your computer so you have to always know what you are downloading and where it is coming from. The problem with old peer-to-peer services was that you left yourself open to everyone because you had to lower all of your defenses to share files. Thankfully that problem can be solved by using a service that isn't an old school P2P sharing site and also does not have ads or spyware built into the service.
The other problem with old fashion P2P sites is that now they are illegal so you have to now make sure that you are downloading from a site where you aren't breaking the law. This is obviously something that any reputable service is going to have to provide but it still needs to be said that you have to make sure that wherever you download something you are doing it in a legal way. As long as you make sure whatever service you are using falls within these boundaries you will have made a wise choice for yourself and your game playing needs.
Hello my name is Steven Tikas and I write about different topics that interest me and games are something that I have been passionate about since as far back as I could remember. I am also someone that loves to save money where I can so I'm trying to educate people on ways they can play games along with saving money. Please check out my Nintendo Wii Lens for more information about downloading games for the Wii
